Recreation Sales was Incorporated in 2001 as Recreation Sales and consulting as the equipment sales arm of Recreation Services Corporation - one of the nation’s largest and most highly respected Playground Installation Companies. In 2008, Recreation Sales was honored to become the manufacturer’s representative for Play & Park Structures for the State of Texas.
Jim Riddle, President and Co-Founder of both companies became the President and CEO of Recreation Sales. Jim has served the playground industries for more than 15 years in design, manufacturing, installation and safety areas. Jim earned his CPSI (Certified Playground Safety Inspector) designation from the National Recreation & Park Society’s National Playground Safety Institute more than a decade ago. He has served as a Primary Safety Consultant to several school districts and cities in Texas including the Houston Independent School District - the largest district in Texas and the third largest district in the United States.
Recreation Sales is a member of the National Parks and Recreation Society, Texas Recreation & Parks Society and numerous industry organizations.
